Big Pharma is ripping off the American people and forcing them to pay thousands of dollars for medicine that they need to survive. It\u2019s a disgrace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to take on Big Pharma and work aggressively to bring down drug costs. That means we need a NIH Director who is committed to these goals and is ready to take on the industry. While I believe that Dr. Bertagnolli is highly qualified to serve in this role, I&#8217;m not convinced that she will take on Big Pharma \u2014\u202fand for that reason I will vote against her confirmation.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false}}
