It was an honor to meet with Acting Labor Secretary Su. I know she is the labor ally we need in this position. I will be voting YES on her confirmation, and I urge all my colleagues to do the same,\u201d<strong> said Senator Fetterman.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Su has a career history of championing workers\u2019 rights and fighting for working people. She served as Secretary of California\u2019s state Department of Labor from 2011 to 2018 and was confirmed as Deputy Secretary of Labor in 2021.<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Last week, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions committee favorably reported Su\u2019s nomination to the full Senate.
