LANGHORNE, PA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Pennsylvania U.S. Senator John Fetterman today joined striking\u00a0UAW\u00a0workers on the picket line outside a General Motors facility in Langhorne, PA. Fetterman spoke with the union members, talked to local press, and gave brief remarks to the crowd.<\/p>\n

Senator Fetterman previously joined striking UAW workers in Wayne, MI just a day after the strike started, after driving his UAW-made Ford Bronco to the picket line. He promised to keep showing up and standing in solidarity with the striking workers until they \u201cgot what they deserved.\u201d Senator Fetterman also last week\u00a0published<\/a>\u00a0an op-ed on MSNBC about the ongoing\u00a0UAW\u00a0strike, and his support for the striking workers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat you\u2019re doing is just and it\u2019s the right thing. Make them pay until they pay you what you all deserve,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>said Senator Fetterman.<\/p>\n

When asked why it was so important for him to be on the picket line, Senator Fetterman responded with the following:<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause they\u2019re important. And their cause is important. I should be here and shame on anyone that wouldn\u2019t be here.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
