Trump has previously bragged about installing extreme right-wing justices who overturned Roe v. Wade, said that there should be punishment for women who get abortions if they become outlawed, and recently suggested he\u2019d support a 15-week federal abortion ban.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Senator Fetterman released the following statement in response:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u201cDonald Trump is the architect of curtailing the reproductive freedom for tens of millions of American women. He needs to own this and be held accountable.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Senator Fetterman is a cosponsor of the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/118\/bills\/s701\/BILLS-118s701pcs.pdf\">Women\u2019s Health Protection Act of 2023<\/a><\/em>, which would restore reproductive rights and access to medication abortions to Americans who live in states with abortion bans. He also supports scrapping the filibuster to get it done.<\/p>\n","protected":false}}
