The funding will provide critical support to hospitals that took on significant out-of-pocket costs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The disbursement of this funding is essential for their continued operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m grateful to Secretary Mullin and FEMA for releasing these funds to the hospitals in Pennsylvania that provided lifesaving care through a global pandemic and have been waiting for these reimbursements. Our healthcare workers and first responders represent the very best of us, and these hospitals responded heroically for our communities. This is a long awaited relief for them,\u201d <strong>said Senator Fetterman.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPennsylvania hospitals transformed their operations overnight to care for their communities, protect their teams, and save lives during the COVID-19 pandemic, taking on significant financial costs.
