Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization <\/em>Supreme Court decision that overturned<em> Roe v. Wade:<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt was true a year ago and it\u2019s true today: Deciding when and how to become a mother is a decision that should be made by women and their doctors, not politicians or extremist Supreme Court Justices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSince <em>Roe<\/em> was overturned, states across the country have steadily stripped this right away or banned abortions altogether. This is deeply dangerous to women across the country who need medical care. We know that these laws have cost lives and caused unnecessary suffering for so many families.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cA woman\u2019s right to make her own health care decisions is sacred and non-negotiable. Period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is time for the Senate to finally scrap the filibuster and pass the Women\u2019s Health Protection Act to codify <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> into law. We can\u2019t afford to wait any longer.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false}}
